Black & White Dynamic Landscapes
Intrigued by his Black and White images of Yosemite, Ansel Adams created an addiction which came to consume the greater part of my childhood. I would marvel at his meticulous compositions, note his subtle thoughts within the frame, and always dream of the dynamic nature of his lighting. I always wondered if I would find a place as visually dynamic and aesthetically untouched as the Yosemite that Adams found when he so graciously documented it. I believe Revelstoke provides that outlet for my imagination to wander.
The images above and below were not captured on rigorous backcountry trips nor were they meticulously planned, rather, each image is found on a trip down the mountain or a stroll around town.
